PRESIDENT FENNELL'S REMARKS (TEXT)

As we come to the close of February, a month set aside to recognize Black History Month, I want to thank you for your support of Texas College, a recognized Historically Black College and University (HBCU). We have and continue to “Chart the Course: Moving from Good to Great” in an ever-changing world. We are convinced that through it all, God has and continues to be faithful to this institution and the constituents that we serve. We appreciate all that you do to share your love and friendship for this institution so that others will pursue educational opportunities here. We are continuing to grow the enrollment, enhance academic offerings, strengthen student life and maintain our fiduciary responsibility. We are also working toward another 10-year Accreditation period. These things are not always easy, but well worth it, to keep the light shining brightly at our dear Texas College.

We appreciate you and hope you will continue to support your institution by sharing your love for her with others, praying for her sustainability and contributing to her financially. May God continue to bless you and your family richly!

Regards,

Dwight J. Fennell, Ph.D.

President
