Texas College seeks applicants for a full-time Administrative Assistant in its Academic Affairs Division. The position will assist with the administration of the day to day operations of the department. This position receives, greets, corresponds and interacts with faculty, staff, students and the general public on a daily basis and must maintain a strict level of confidentiality. The Assistant supports the department by helping with the implementation of services, policies, and creates an environment that supports faculty, staff and students. Successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and one year of successful office experience. Candidate must have excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel; effective oral and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills; make independent decisions on a daily basis; have knowledge of office machines, and filing procedures. Candidate must be able to independently organize and prioritize activities of daily office operations; able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; be able to gather and analyze information skillfully. |
