TEXAS COLLEGE INVITES APPLICATIONS: Texas College is a four-year, coeducational, private, liberal arts institution. It is located in Tyler, Texas, less than 2 hours from Dallas and Shreveport.

The College awards baccalaureate degrees in the arts and the sciences to students in one of its four major divisions: General Studies and Humanities, Business and Social Sciences, Natural and Computational Sciences and Education. The College awards associate degrees in Early Childhood Education and General Studies.  Attention is given to a common base of general knowledge in the liberal arts, upon which a program of generalization can be built. To this end, a common core of academic foundation courses must be completed satisfactorily by all students regardless of degree plans.

Due to an anticipated increase in student enrollment, Texas College is seeking applicants for both full-time and part-time faculty for its Summer 2017 and Fall 2017 academic sessions in all teaching areas, including Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Criminal Justice, Economics, Education, English, Business, Government, History, Health, Mathematics, Music, Physical Education, Physics, Religion, Sociology, Social Work, and Spanish.  

A Master’s degree is required, with 18 hours in the teaching area. Application package should include a letter of intent, curriculum vita, Texas College employment application (online application found on the College website, www.texascollege.edu) and copies of transcripts.
