Texas College is now hiring for full-time position in History beginning Spring 2025; applications are also being accepted for adjunct positions. Teaching is the primary function of the faculty at Texas College and includes time spent in the classroom and in immediate preparation for classes. SPECIFIC DUTIES: Counsel and advise students on a regular basis during the semester and during formal registration; familiarize themselves with academic foundation requirements as well as major and minor requirements of the discipline in order to ensure effective student counseling; maintain class rolls, place book orders prior to the end of a semester for courses to be offered during the oncoming semester; comply with College requirements in submitting grade reports and statistical information when due; attend departmental, divisional, and general faculty meetings, and vote on issues brought before the faculty, maintain a high degree of professionalism and pedagogical relevance in the selection of course content, and delivery. |
