Dr. SherRhonda Gibbs is a distinguished higher education leader, academic administrator, and passionate advocate for student success. She serves as the 24th President of Texas College, making history as the first woman to lead the institution since its founding in 1894.
Alongside her administrative leadership, Dr. Gibbs is a nationally recognized entrepreneurship professor and educator. She is notably one of only two African Americans and among fewer than 100 individuals in history to be inducted as a Justin G. Longenecker Fellow by the United States Association for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (USASBE)—the organization's highest recognition. Additionally, she was honored as Changemaker of the Year in Entrepreneurship Education by Babson College’s Diana International Project, a prestigious distinction closely tied to Babson’s long-standing ranking as the top entrepreneurship program in the United States.
