Letter from the Vice President for Student Affairs - July 29
Greetings!
As we prepare to receive students for the 2022 Athletic and Auxiliaries Camp, August 8-19, 2022, whichis open to all students interested in fall sports and the auxiliaries; I wanted to remind you of a few important items:
- Upon arrival to the campus; all students will be tested for COVID-19. There is no fee for the test nor is insurance required, however testing mandatory. Also, Vaccines will be offered for those who have not been vaccinated.
- All students participating in the camp must be fully admitted to the college, which includes all required documents having been submitted (official transcripts from High school and all college/universities, medical forms, proof of meningitis shots, immunization records, as well as a social security card). Please note that all official transcripts must be received by the college prior to the student’s participation in the camp;
- All students must have an updated Physical signed by a medical doctor prior to participating in the camp; and
- Texas College is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) which requires all student athletes to register with their NAIA Eligibility Center. Simply visit their website at www.playnaia.com to register.
- All students will be allowed to move-in the dormitory on Monday, August 8, 2022; there will be absolutely no early move-in on the weekend! There will be No Saturday or Sunday move-ins.

Greetings,
I am delighted to share with you that Texas College will offer the 2022 Athletic and Auxiliaries Camp, August 8-19 2022. The camp is open to all students interested in fall sports and the auxiliaries.
The camp for the athletes is designed to provide students with the opportunity to become acclimated with the College, as well as, to provide time for students to condition and prepare for the sports.
All interested students should plan to arrive on campus, on August 8th by 10:00am and report to the Gus Taylor Gymnasium. There will be a mandatory orientation promptly at 11:30am.
