The Office of Security strives to maintain a safe and secure environment for all Texas College students, staff, and visitors and to ensure the college is prepared to effectively respond to all emergencies that might affect safety or security of students and staff.

The Office of Security is committed to the safety and security of the students, staff, faculty, visitors, and property for the College, thus requires the use of ID cards for all individuals desiring access to campus programs, activities and services. This office works with a privately owned security force to protect and serve the campus environment 24 hours a day, seven days a week, The security's authority encompasses all properties owned and operated by the College.

In the event of an immediate threat, danger, or injury contact the local authorities by dialing 911 and then call Texas College Campus Security.

Campus Security maintains a daily log written in a form that is easily understood and records all crimes reported to the office. The log is available to the public for inspection in the Office of Security.
