Texas College has announced the appointment of Mr. Jameus Hartsfield, Sr. as the Interim Head Men’s Basketball Coach. Coach Hartsfield, a Texas College Alumnus and former basketball player for the Steers, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the program. Nearing two decades of coaching experience, Coach Hartsfield is well-positioned to assume the role and lead the Steers this season.
Coach Hartsfield most recently served as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach, as well as a teacher for Marlin Independent School District in Marlin, Texas. Prior to this role, he served as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and Associate Director of Athletics for Wiley College (now Wiley University) in Marshall, Texas.
The College is pleased to welcome home Coach Hartsfield as he leads the Steers throughout this season.
