QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree with five years of experience in the area of student services; ability to work well with students; and knowledge of budgets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Plan and coordinate activities for students and organizations.
2. Disseminate information concerning student activities and events.
3. Coordinate facility reservations for use of Student Union.
4. Direct and coordinate Student Center purchasing and deposit of revenue.
5. Assist in locating students on/off campus.
6. Assist students when help is needed or refer them to the proper source.
7. Maintain ample office supplies for the smooth operation of the office; prepare requisitions as necessary.
8. Attend workshops, meetings, conferences, etc., as required.
9. Serve as the primary advisor to student organizations; provide direction in planning student group-sponsored social and cultural celebrations.
10. Coordinate and maintain departmental and student group databases.
11. Provide direct support to the Student Union Advisory Board.
12. Perform other job duties as assigned by the Dean of Student Life
