Texas College's Tyler Pyburn was recognized as the Red River Athletic Conference (RRAC) Women's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week for the period of January 27, 2025-February 2, 2025. During this period, Pyburn averaged 29.5 points per game in a 1-1 week for the Steers. The junior forward from Blooming Grove, Texas, posted a double-double with 31 points and 12 rebounds in a 64-55 win over Jarvis Christian University, as well as accounted for 28 points in a 62-58 loss to Texas A&M University-Texarkana on Saturday, February 1. Pyburn was 18-of-34 from the field and 19-of-20 on free throw attempts for the week. Pyburn currently ranks fourth in the Red River Athletic Conference in scoring with 18.5 points per game and rebounding with 8.2 per game.
