Academic Programs

Texas College awards baccalaureate degrees in the arts and the sciences to students in one of its four major divisions: General Studies and Humanities, Business and Social Sciences, Natural and Computational Sciences and Education.

The College also awards associate degrees in Early Childhood Education and General Studies. Attention is given to a common base of general knowledge in the liberal arts, upon which a program of generalization can be built. To this end, a common core of academic foundation courses must be completed satisfactorily by all students regardless of degree plans.

The College has computer laboratories throughout the campus and in residence facilities. The D.R. Glass Library contains the Teacher Education Distance Learning Technology Center, over 73,500 print volumes, 151 online databases, as well as, digital audio and video support for the academic program.
