Texas College is grounded in the tradition of academic excellence. Through scholarship opportunities, we strive to recognize the academic achievements of prospective students. Scholarships are competitive and based upon the availability of funding. In order to be considered for a Texas College Institutional Scholarship, students must accept all eligible federal and state funding available to them.
Eligible scholarship candidates will be reviewed by the Texas College Scholarship Committee. To be considered for a Texas College scholarship all students must submit the following items
by September 1st (fall semester) November 1 =st (spring semester) in order for your scholarship application to be reviewed:
Below is a listing of scholarship opportunities available to incoming freshmen at Texas College:
Academic Scholarship: Recipients of the Academic Scholarship will receive $ 2,000.00 per year. The criteria for this scholarship is an overall 2.7 GPA or higher.
Renewal Requirements: Students must maintain a 2.7 GPA or higher to remain eligible for the Academic Scholarship.
Achievement Scholarship: Recipients of the Achievement Scholarship will receive $ 1,000.00 per year. The criteria for this scholarship include a minimum of 2.7 GPA or higher, and have
completed 31 or more credit hours.
Renewal Requirements: Students must enroll in 15 or more credit hours, and successfully complete at least 12 credit hours per semester.
Transfer Scholarship: Recipients of the Transfer Scholarship will receive $ 2,000.00 per year. The criteria for this scholarship include a minimum of 2.7 GPA or higher in transfer, and have unmet financial need.
Renewal Requirements: Students must enroll in and maintain 15 or more credit hours or more, and maintain a 2.7 GPA. Students must also, be in good standing with the college.
