The Texas College Social Work Program has recently been approved to progress to Benchmark Three in their program accreditation process. This approval comes after a successful review of the Benchmark Two materials and a decision from the Board of Accreditation to grant a Second Year of Candidacy Status to the College’s Social Work Program.
"We are beyond thrilled that we have reached this next level," said Charlotte Sanders, Social Work Program Director and Assistant Professor. "We have worked tirelessly to ensure that our program meets the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) standards for the future of social work students now and in the future. "
With this approval to advance in the accreditation process, the Social Work Program is steadfastly preparing for Benchmark Three and initial accreditation, which will be reviewed at the February 2025 Board of Accreditation Meeting.
